1.0  SUBMITTING MATERIAL TO THE ‘NEW WRITING ON TRADE’ AND NEW STUDENT WRITING ON TRADE’ AWARDS

1.1. Any material you submit for our the Best New Writing on Trade (“Award”) and/or Best New Student Writing on Trade (“Student Award”) will be considered non-confidential and you grant us the right to display, copy, distribute, use, store and disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose. We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any material posted or uploaded by you to our Website constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.

1.2. We have the right (but not the obligation) at our sole discretion to refuse, delete or remove any material if, in our opinion, such material does not comply with the content standards.

1.3. We reserve the right not to Publish any material submitted. Publication entails The Channel Group making the submission available for public consumption, either on our Website, in print, or in any other form, and may be free of charge or for payment.

2.0  AWARDS

2.1. All published articles will be considered for The Channel Group award for Best New Writing on Trade (“Award”)

2.2. All published articles by those studying undergraduate or postgraduate courses, and who provide evidence if requested, will be considered for The Channel Group award for Best New Student Writing on Trade (“Student Award”)

2.3. Where an Award is presented (see 2.3 – 2.5 below), the date is at discretion of The Channel Group.

2.4. The Award and Student Award will each be presented not more than once annually.

2.5. We reserve the right not to present an Award or Student Award in any given year.

2.6. The Award and Student Award have no monetary value.

2.7. The decision of The Channel Group is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

2.8. Submission will only be considered if they satisfy the conditions laid down in 1.1.-1.5. in the Submission Policy above.

12.4 We shall not be liable for failure to deliver any of the Membership benefits outlined in any of the Membership options listed on our Website or expressed in person and shall not be liable for any content that does not fulfil your wishes as to the content of Our publications and materials.

13.0 RENUNCIATION, REMUNERATION AND REVOCATION OF MEMBERSHIP

13.1 The Channel Group International LLP reserves all rights to withdraw or suspend Your Membership from The Channel Group International LLP at any time. This includes but is not limited to suspension from events and mentions in publications.

13.2 You as a Member of The Channel Group International LLP cannot suspend or revoke your Membership without written approval from The Channel Group International LLP but The Channel Group International LLP is under no obligation to do so and can refuse without giving any reason or reasons. The Channel Group International LLP will not refund any Membership fees or Donations in any circumstances unless deemed necessary by the Channel a Group International LLP. In the event a refund by the Channel Group International LLP is granted the refund will be returned to You in no less than 60 days.

14.0 DIRECT DEBIT PAYMENTS

14.1 Payment of Membership through direct debit will be for the price of the Membership as shown on our website.

14.2 By offering payment through direct debit You give us permission to set up a direct debit to your account for the price of the Membership which will then be debited annually from your account.

14.3 Should you wish to cancel the direct debit before Your membership is up for Renewal it is the responsibility of the Member to do so with their respective bank. The Channel Group International LLP does not accept liability if You do not cancel Your direct debit and will not refund Your payment should a cancellation not occur.

15.0 LEGAL COMPLIANCE AND APPLICABLE LAW

15.1 You shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations in England and Wales in connection with Your use of the Website and the Materials that appear on it.
